The organizations he created and led have introduced some of the most innovative software solutions in the areas of systems management, relational databases, internet application development and, currently, real-time, event-driven applications. Sprinzen founded and became CEO of VANTIQ Corporation. Prior to VANTIQ, he was CEO and co-founder of Forte Software, which was acquired for over $1B. He also served as VP of International Operations and VP of Engineering at Ingres and VP of Development at Candle Corporation. He holds a BSEE from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Paul Butterworth is a noted technology leader with a lengthy career of demonstrated innovation and business success. Past roles include founder and CTO of Emotive, where he conceived and designed the Emotive Cloud Platform for enterprise mobile computing, Architect at Oracle, Founder & CTO at AmberPoint where he directed the technical strategy for the AmberPoint SOA governance products, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technologist for Sun Microsystems, and Founder and Chief Architect for Forte Software, an internet application development company. Paul also served as Chief Systems Architect at Ingres. Paul holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from UC Irvine.

Bill was most recently Chief Financial Officer for First Virtual Group, a diversified holding company with $1B+ of investments. Prior to First Virtual Group, Bill was VP Finance and Operations and Interim CFO for C3 IoT, Inc., an AI software provider. Prior to C3 IoT, Bill held executive roles with Ziff Davis Media, AMP Incorporated and several venture and private equity backed companies. Prior to business school, he served in the United States Navy on USS Queenfish, based in Pearl Harbor. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Tamba Hironobu joined Vodafone (now SoftBank) in 2004 after working at Japan Digital Equipment (now HPE), Openwave and Aicent. After leading the planning and program management for both consumer and corporate customers at SoftBank, he became the head of mobile device strategy, planning, development, verification, quality control and technical examination. Currently he is VP and General Manager of SoftBank’s IoT & AI Technology Division, and is engaged in business and customer acquisition, acquiring and implementing new technologies, and finding new partners that deliver advanced business models.

Richard co-founded Medicus Systems Corporation in 1969 and Mediflex Systems Corporation in 1983. As CEO of both companies, he took Mediflex and Medicus public in 1983 and 1986 respectively. Richard was also Chairman of the Board of Knowledge Data Systems and Lifemark Corporation, both of which were spin-offs from Medicus and has served as a Director at six additional companies. In Aspen, he served on the Board and on the Executive Committee of both the Aspen Medical Foundation and the Aspen Community Foundation and continues serving on the Board of the Aspen Community Foundation. He has been a consultant to numerous organizations including: Veterans Administration, Department of Health Education and Welfare, Westinghouse and General Electric and was part of President Reagan’s Task Force (Grace Commission) on Automated Data Processing. In addition to sitting on the Board of VANTIQ, he currently oversees personal and family investments. Richard holds a BSE in Industrial Engineering, an MBA and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Paul Deninger is an experienced Board Director, accomplished CEO, and recognized expert in strategy and innovation management in the B2B technology industry. Over the past 30 years, as a senior banker at Broadview, Jefferies and Evercore, he has advised hundreds of CEOs and boards on shareholder value creation, including how to leverage technology to achieve transformation and growth. He has deep capital markets experience, having completed over 150 IPO, M&A, and financing transactions with the world’s leading technology companies and top-tier investment firms. As CEO of Broadview, Paul guided the firm to its position as the leading independent technology M&A advisor, prior to selling it to Jefferies. He has been a keynote speaker at numerous technology and VC industry events including National Venture Capital Association, European Venture Capital Association, and Red Herring Global, and he was a panelist and 14-year attendee at the World Economic Forum at Davos. In addition to Vantiq, Paul also sits on the boards of three public companies, with revenue ranging from $250 million to $5 billion. He holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
