Marty Sprinzen is a visionary leader and successful software entrepreneur. The organizations he created and led have introduced some of the most innovative software solutions in the areas of systems management, relational databases, internet application development and, currently, real-time, event-driven applications. Sprinzen founded and became CEO of VANTIQ Corporation. Prior to VANTIQ, he was CEO and co-founder of Forte Software, which was acquired for over $1B. He also served as VP of International Operations and VP of Engineering at Ingres and VP of Development at Candle Corporation. He holds a BSEE from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

Paul Butterworth is a noted technology leader with a lengthy career of demonstrated innovation and business success. Past roles include founder and CTO of Emotive, where he conceived and designed the Emotive Cloud Platform for enterprise mobile computing, Architect at Oracle, Founder & CTO at AmberPoint where he directed the technical strategy for the AmberPoint SOA governance products, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technologist for Sun Microsystems, and Founder and Chief Architect for Forte Software, an internet application development company. Paul also served as Chief Systems Architect at Ingres. Paul holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from UC Irvine.

Tamba Hironobu joined Vodafone (now SoftBank) in 2004 after working at Japan Digital Equipment (now HPE), Openwave and Aicent. After leading the planning and program management for both consumer and corporate customers at SoftBank, he became the head of mobile device strategy, planning, development, verification, quality control and technical examination. Currently he is VP and General Manager of SoftBank’s IoT & AI Technology Division, and is engaged in business and customer acquisition, acquiring and implementing new technologies, and finding new partners that deliver advanced business models.

Toby is a multilingual, multicultural, transformational global technology innovator, business executive, board member, and board advisor. He delivered company-firsts, industry-firsts, and world-firsts as he worked in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia. His impact and influence spans Silicon Valley; incubators; next-gen startups; Fortune 20 enterprises; the first 5G labs on earth; public and private entities; and military/government. Toby builds, scales, transforms, modernizes, expands the competitive edge, and future-proofs organizations.

John is the Founding and Managing Partner at Easton Capital Investment Group, a venture capital firm with a focus in healthcare and life sciences, for the past twenty years. Previously, John founded and led Security Pacific Capital Investors and was a Managing Director and Partner at E.M. Warburg, Pincus & Co., Inc., where he spent more than eight years. John also co-founded Comverse Technology, which grew to a revenue run rate in excess of $1 billion and a market capitalization of more than $12 billion. During his career John has invested in more than 100 transactions across multiple sectors, including healthcare and technology.

Alan Quasha is a seasoned investor, entrepreneur and advisor with a global track record of guiding companies through complex growth and transformation. He is the founder and Chairman of Quadrant Management, a principal investment firm with over 40 years of experience building durable businesses across technology, healthcare, energy and manufacturing. Under his leadership, Quadrant has invested in and scaled companies such as ExThera Medical, Eco Material Technologies, Vantem and ARC Group Worldwide. Alan brings deep expertise in strategic finance, governance and operational execution, having served on numerous boards of public and private companies. At Vantiq, Alan contributes to the board’s strategic oversight, supporting the company’s mission to deliver real-time intelligent systems that address critical challenges across industries. He holds a law degree from Harvard and continues to support organizations that drive innovation and resilience worldwide.

Captain Joe Grace, USN (Retired), is the President and CEO of Grace and Associates, LLC. Mr. Grace is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and earned his MBA from the University of New Orleans. After serving as a nuclear submarine officer, he then joined the Naval Reserves and worked a variety of military assignments, completing his Naval career as the Chief Information Officer for Navy medicine. Joe Grace now works with the industrial base supporting government agencies, with an emphasis on Military Health and the Department of Veterans Affairs. His many roles include facilitator, a key trusted advisor to leadership and a mentor to industry and government. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Grace has started many technology-based companies and taken three public. Grace and Associates continues to work diligently to improve the care of our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines and their dependents.

Dr. Saurabha Bhatnagar leverages his deep knowledge of medicine, technology, human centered design and quality to drive health care innovation globally. He is a software engineer turned Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician. Dr. Bhatnagar is Chief Health Officer at Commure. Previously he served as Chief Medical Officer, Head of Digital & Technology at UnitedHealthcare, spearheading various digital health initiatives across Medicare, Medicaid and commercial businesses. Prior to UnitedHealthcare, he led the formulation and establishment of national healthcare policies, programs and operational initiatives in a variety of roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer for EHR Modernization and Assistant Deputy Undersecretary overseeing enterprise Quality, Safety and Value operations. He also teaches in Global Executive Education programs at Harvard Medical School.

Steve Cercone is a former California chief of police and the founder of Safe Cities Global, a business development consulting firm serving public safety technology providers. Steve has also served with Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, and Ingram Micro as a public safety and security executive. Before the corporate world, Steve spent nearly 30 years in American law enforcement, finishing his career as chief of police for the City of Seaside Police Department in California. His police experience includes service as captain, lieutenant, undercover detective, and SWAT team commander. Steve also served with the City of Bellevue near Seattle and the City of San Mateo in the San Francisco Bay Area. Steve sits on the corporate council of the Citizens Crime Commission of New York City and serves as Global Public Safety Lead for the Smart Cities Council. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia and he holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco. Steve has appeared on several American TV documentaries including CBS 48 Hours and the Discovery Channel. Originally from Boston, he now lives near Sacramento, California.
