WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 14, 2018) – VANTIQ, the company that powers real-time business operations, has been named the Best Platform as a Service of 2018 as part of the annual SIIA CODiE Awards. CODiE Award recipients are the companies producing the most innovative businesses technology products across the country, and around the world.
“Our team of experienced application platform developers built our core technology to enable real-time, event-driven applications with the key goal of making it very easy and quick for our customers to get results. The fact that the SIIA recognized this achievement ahead of other platforms is strong validation that we have achieved our objective,” said Paul Butterworth, CTO and co-founder of VANTIQ. “We are honored to add the CODiE Award for Best Platform as a Service to our growing list of accolades.”
The VANTIQ platform is particularly suited to building applications that must sense streams of data from devices, systems, and people; analyze that data as it comes in; and then enable actions to be taken in real time. Such applications are commonly found at the heart of business operations including those involving manufacturing, supply chain, field service, fleet management, and many more. Applications built with VANTIQ often start small but are then easily expanded and enhanced over time as other areas of business operations become incorporated. VANTIQ was also recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor.
“The 2018 CODiE Award winners are the most innovative, high-impact products in the market. We are happy to recognize these products and the power they have to transform the future of how we do business.” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.
The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, announced the full slate of CODiE winners during a special Award Ceremony in San Francisco on June 12.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. The first-round review of all nominees is conducted by software and business technology experts with considerable industry expertise, including members of the industry, analysts, media, bloggers, bankers and investors. The scores from the expert judge review determine the finalists. The over 800 Software and Information Industry Association members then vote on the finalist products, and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. 51 awards were given this year for products and services deployed specifically for B2B software, information and media companies, including the all new Best Overall Business Technology Product, awarded to the product with the highest scores of both rounds of judging.
