Vantiq powers the edge and edge applications by giving you a platform that is both fully distributed and multi-tenant to build low latency edge applications at scale. Learn more in this short demo video.
Vantiq and partner Casne Engineering discuss how low-code applications on the edge are enabling utilities companies to more effectively operate remote environments.
In this webinar, IBM's CTO of Edge Computing, Rob High, and Vantiq CEO, Marty Sprinzen, dive into the business impact of edge-native applications and how we get there.

IoT Under the Hood
The Project Q application integrates various IoT devices. Explore below.
Smart Hand Sanitizers
Smart hand sanitizer dispensers with Rigado sensors are stationed by each entrance/exit to allow people to sanitize their hands. The accompanying sensor will be able to detect when the dispenser is low and how often it is used.
IP Cameras
IP cameras are stationed in strategic locations throughout the office such as the conference room, break room, hallways, and cubicles to gather visual context, count occupants, and monitor movement.
Integrated Displays
Using integrated calendars and occupancy sensors, Project Q displays room status and enables employees to have real-time visibility of their workspace.
Thermal Cameras
Thermal cameras are placed by each entrance to detect fever and capture people as they enter.
Occupancy Sensors
Occupancy sensors and people counters are stationed in highly populated spaces such as cubicles and meeting areas to gain insight of how many people occupy a space and what areas are populated.

Conference Room
The main meeting space where team members strategize and collaborate on transformational business solutions.
Integrated Displays
Occupants’ personal devices and tools are automatically detected and linkable to meeting software, allowing for minimal contact and lag time while collaborating and sharing ideas.
Occupancy Management
Calendar integration and IP cameras aid in monitoring access and occupancy of the room. If someone cannot enter physically, they can join virtually using the virtual link displayed on the room scheduler and/or within their personal calendar.

Executive Lounge
Comfortable yet well-suited space for executives and important guests to gather and strategize.
Decrowding
Real-time regulation of proximity via object recognition lowers the risk of overcrowding and safety threats in open areas.
Smart Scheduling
Via room occupancy and integrated calendar data, a real-time status of the executive office is displayed outside the office with the capability to directly schedule meeting times based on the executives’ preference.
Back to Map
Kitchen
Main dining space where guests and employees mingle, grab snacks or drinks, and find essential equipment.
Smart Sanitization
Usage and sanitizer levels of an automatic hand sanitizer station is monitored in real time. When sanitizer levels are low, a notification is sent to officials to replenish the sanitizer.
Proximity Management
Occupants are kept at a safe distance from one another via object recognition. When two or more people are too close, Project Q collaborates with devices such as vibrating wearables to remind the occupants to keep their distance.
Back to Map
Workstations
Cubicle workspaces for Vantiq team members.
Remote Visibility
Occupied workstations are identified via occupancy sensors and relayed to employees in real time. Before leaving for work, employees can decide if the office is empty enough or if they should work from home.
Seating Management
Stations have the ability to be assigned to specific employees or marked as off limits to enforce diagonal seating or make way for office events.
Back to Map
Meeting Areas
Used for team meetings, lunch gatherings, and project collaborations.
Access Management
People are counted and tracked as they enter and leave meeting spaces. If a maximum threshold is reached. No additional people will be allowed to enter.

Lobby
Main entryway that serves as a greeting and screening area for entrants and a hub for the office manager.
Symptom Detection
Entrant's temperature is monitored via thermal imaging cameras. If someone enters with a fever, an alert is sent to office officials to complete a secondary scan and send the entrant home if a fever is confirmed.
Human–Machine Collaboration
Real-time collaboration between office officials, thermal cameras, and smart hand sanitizer stations ensures occupants are non-symptomatic, authorized, and practicing proper hygiene.
