VANTIQ Curriculum Development Lead

VANTIQ seeks a Curriculum Developer to anchor and lead our Technical Training team.

You will create and manage a best-in-class portfolio of training and certification services for the VANTIQ developer community.

Your training materials will power the technical growth of VANTIQ Sales Engineers and Consultants, VANTIQ Partners, and the end user developers and administrators of VANTIQ applications.

VANTIQ is a world-wide business with significant momentum in China, Japan, Europe, and the Americas.   The training material must be multi-format and translatable to other languages.   eLearning (self-study online) content is key.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of curriculum developmentin support of the VANTIQ product roadmap, new courses, course updates, and quality improvements.
  • Develop training materialin multiple formats including instructor materials, multi-element student course ware, and eLearning.   You can expect 50% of your time to be spent developing eLearning content.
  • Innovate and expand the portfolio of training and certification services to drive customer adoption, enable partners smooth operation of the training business, supportproduct sales, and grow the ecosystem ofskilled technical users of VANTIQ solutions
  • Be familiar with and apply thelatest training industry best practicesand technologies.

What you’ll achieve:

3 Months:

  • LearnVANTIQ solutionsand positioning.
  • Developtechnical proficiencyin the core VANTIQ products.
  • Establishe-Learningprocesses and curriculum that coversbase-level proficiency for VANTIQ application developers and administrators.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to update curriculumto reflect product enhancements.

12 Months:

  • Own and drive content developmentprojects, including:
  • Project managing the participation of Subject Matter Experts, translators, field contributors, etc.
  • Keeping abreast of the technology being developed and the user groups impacted. Applying this information to identify the best means of instructional design and training delivery model (in person, virtual, etc.)
  • Institute and manage an assessment processthat:
  • Establishes VANTIQ application developer and administrator certifications with proven value in the market.
  • Drives ongoing training material improvements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
  • Drive the training businessand increase the impact and scaleof our services.

 

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Extensivecurriculum developmentexperience building materials for developers of enterprise applications.
  • Expertise with Rapid Development eLearning tools(e.g. Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia).
  • Provenproject managementtrack record of achievement; leading conversations with multiple stakeholders in tight timelines, recommending solutions to scale, delivering to business needs, and sustaining strong and trusted relationships with business partners.
  • Experience with Java (or similar OOP language) and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Computing, Web Services, integration technologies, distributed systems, and async, event-driven
  • Language fluency—strong English Additional language proficiency a bonus.
  • Ability to work effectively with a geographically dispersedteam
  • Enthusiasm, positive professional attitude, integrity, and reliability
  • Travel on occasion (<10%)
