As a Principal Consultant, you are a trusted business and technical advisor who help customers or partners fully implement VANTIQ solutions and products. You are the VANTIQ expert who is able to conduct business discussions as well as develop or help customer or partners develop applications. You typically deliver a billable service. You are a founding member of the VANTIQ Professional Services team.

This position is based in Beijing or Shanghai (China) or in San Francisco, CA (USA).
You need to be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
The Principal Consultant will be responsible for:
Conduct business discussions leading to the statement of work
Define statement of work and scope of work with customers or partners
Deliver on scope, on time, on budget, and on quality projects
Participate in Proof of Concepts with pre-sales
Help other teams with training, enablement efforts for customers or partners
Understand and validate the customer’s solution requirements (business goals, technical requirements, architecture) in partnership with pre-sales
Present progress of your solutions to both business and IT audiences through presentations, demonstrations, and pilots
Share in the responsibility for customer success and contribute to customer training, post-sales solution design, and customer support
Become an expert at building VANTIQ applications
Become an expert at onboarding VANTIQ application builders
Become an expert in the features, benefits and application of VANTIQ’s products
Communicate via phone, email, face-to-face and web meetings with customers and partners providing them regular update on progress of work as well as validating scope and dates.
Maintain frequent communication with management as well as sales and pre-sales about the customer and partner’s project status.
Be the customer advocate and liaison for product management and development

Experienced. 10 or more years’ experience in a Professional Services Consulting role. This includes 3 or more years’ experience with Enterprise Application Development Tools.

Ability to travel up to 70% of the time internationally
